SERVINGS : 16 (mini buns)
INGREDIENTS:
Set A
- 280gm – Bread flour
- 3 Tbsp – Sugar
- 1 tsp – Salt
- 50gm – butter
- 160gm – Milk
- 25gm (abt half a medium size egg) – Egg (Beaten)
Set B
- 1 tsp – Instant dry yeast
Set C
- 8 sausages (cut into half)
- 25gm (abt half a medium size egg) – Egg (Beaten)
STEPS:
- Knead (A) evenly for around 10-15mins
- Add in (B) the yeast and continue to knead for a further 5-10mins
- Leave the dough in a warm place for about 30min to ferment

(If using Panasonic bread machine – use menu “9 – bread dough” (45mins)
- Meanwhile prepare (C) the sausages and dry it, I used half a sausage for each bun.
- Once the dough is ready, divide the dough into 16 pieces (ard 35geach) shape them into balls and cover them with a small towel for about 15mins
- After, shape them into ovals and cover them with a small towel for another 10mins
- Press slightly with hands and use a rolling pin to role the dough thin, place the sausage at 1 end of the dough and roll it up tightly
- Place them on a tray with the dough closure facing downwards. Spray some water on it.
- Allow the dough to ferment for another 60mins (till it rises to abt double the original size)
- Once ready, apply the egg mixture and bake it for about 15mins (~160 Degree C)
