One of my favourite recipe that I can prepare the night before and wake up with a dessert breakfast.
SERVINGS : 1-2
INGREDIENTS:
- ½ cup rolled oats
- ⅓ cup plain yogurt
- ⅓ cup milk
- ¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 – 2 tablespoons peanut butter
- 1 small red apple, chopped
TOPPINGS:
- 2 tablespoons chopped peanuts
- 2 teaspoons honey
STEPS:
- In a container(I use those glass contain with a lid from IKEA), mix together the , vanilla extract, yogurt, milk, cinnamon and rolled oats. Stir in the peanut butter and chopped apple.
- Cover the container(Put the lid on) and leave in the fridge overnight.
- In the morning, stir the oats well. If the oats are too thick, mix in some extra yogurt or milk.
- In a small bowl, mix together the chopped peanuts and honey. Top the oats with the peanut mixture, and enjoy a delicious healthy breakfast!
